Did You Know What Goes Around Comes Around

Never be afraid to share, regardless of if it is information or even money. Somebody must have given you the information you were seeking, right? Fortunate for you. Think of the difference if they had the attitude that they better not be so honest, because if they told you, you might beat them out of something. (competition vs friendship). Somebody taught you what they knew (shared) and hoped that maybe they had helped you.

Share!

Since mankind is not 100% evil, it may just be the case that you are lucky to meet someone who had been successful themselves and wanted to ‘share the wealth’. If they were really good, they may have felt that they needed to ‘give back’ to the universe some of the blessings that they had received. It’s a beautiful way to think, especially when compared to folks that figure ‘I got mine’ (so that is all that matters).

Something really amazing is when someone has been given some real breaks – tangible resources, training, content, etc. for free – and instead of being grateful, they would begrudge their benefactors from making money “off” of them. They would actually seem to go out of their way to do business with anyone but those that had gifted them. Is it some kind of foolish pride? Shallow competition or just plain cruelty?

It may be somewhat understandable when in direct competition to do all you can to ‘win’. It is also possible to have a ‘win/win’ situation where everybody helps everybody and all can benefit. If I am trying to teach you something and you are able to learn, then I succeeded. However if you refuse to learn then we both failed.

If I share something with you that someone shared with me, and you don’t pass it on to someone who is in a position to need it, as you were, then it just dies. Maybe somebody who would have benefited from the information will fail because they didn’t know. Will that make you more of a winner? Hardly.

That is the mindset of someone who doesn’t understand that ‘what goes around comes around’. Maybe when a door slams in his face he will get it. Good or bad – we never know when we will get what we have coming to us. It works both ways – the more good we do the more good we receive and the other way around. So be a winner and don’t be afraid to give it up. Share what you have and be thankful for all that you have been able to benefit from.

You Could be Making Money on the Internet Right Now

Having access to the Internet we have almost unlimited information, resources, and business opportunities. Other than you are not interested or do not want to make the effort, there is no reason why you can’t be making money on the Internet. Home business entrepreneurs have been earning income online for many years now (proving it can be done).

making money online

However there is no magic to making money on the internet. It definitely does require putting forth a consistent effort over time. While many online business opportunities may be referred to as ‘passive income’, you may not understand what is meant by that. As stated, it definitely doesn’t mean you don’t have to do any work or invest your time.

The reason it is considered ‘passive’ is because it is not the same as being tied down to a job or having to stand behind the counter in a store for X number of hours every day to run the business. If you have a business opportunity website (whether an affiliate sales page or your own website), it is up and running pretty much at all hours, every day. You could potentially make a sale at any time and you may be fast asleep!

Another major beauty is there are some forms of Internet advertising that are permanently running as well. This means there is no deal like ‘Pay $XX to get XX ads displayed for XX days’. When XX days are over, you are done and your money is gone whether or not you had any return on the investment or not. However, when you are using your blog to advertise your business or actually any website, again it is always running and the advertising is permanent. No time limit, no ‘D-Day’ – it can stay there forever as long as the link is working!

The easiest and fastest way to get started making money on the Internet is by joining up with one or more affiliate marketing programs (becoming an affiliate). You can choose from 100s of different affiliate programs and can choose to put your focus on promoting the business opportunity, or their products and/or services. Actually you can do all three for maximum possibility.

These programs usually have low membership fees and you actually get a lot for your money in that they create a web page for you, handle your sales transactions, do the accounting and serve your customers. Then they pay you a commission! There are typically no contracts beyond month-to-month and nobody should force you to buy anything yourself.

Another business model for making money quickly without money is the ‘marketplace’ format where you can get an affiliate ID that works across a broad spectrum of opportunities that you can choose from their ‘index’. You can try something out for a while and if you have no luck then go back and find something else to try and hopefully you will do better. Each opportunity will include a sales page you can use to promote the product.

Starting an Online Business – Do You Live to Work or Work to Live?

To be honest when starting any business it would help if you are among the ‘Live to Work’ group. You really have to more or less enjoy working to want what is possibly a second job. In any case you will likely be spending a lot of time just getting started and obviously you will need to devote as much quality time as possible to your online business.

Be a Worker Bee

From the perspective of having a way to survive while building a business, it is best to start developing your plan for a home business while you still have an income from another source. This is because it takes time to start-up a business; Time to learn, to implement, and to develop a business (maintenance).

It is ok of course if you consider yourself in the ‘Work to Live’ group, as long as you understand that you will need to work at starting your own business, and maybe work harder at it since there are some things about your job career that you may take for granted.

This is the structure. It is already there with a job. They have the office, the equipment, the procedures and processes and the customers — and all you need to do is learn how to use everything and then just do it. You know what time you are expected to be there and what time you can go on breaks and when you can leave for the day. You know how much money you will make and when you will be paid.

When you are in business for yourself none of the above is a given. You have to set it all up. Possibly the most difficult part is in staying motivated since you don’t have a boss to be accountable to. You are it. So if you feel like putting something off, or not doing something at all, you have nobody to answer to. Easy to procrastinate and slack off. Oh sure, I’ll do that never.

On using money as the main motivation to work, again with a job it is sure – you know how much you will make and by when. With your own business you may be working for some time before you see the money and you can’t really say for sure when you will see any. This is natural if you feel disoriented with regard to this, however you may have a psychological problem with it because there is a ‘fine line’ there. The purpose of a business is to make money. If you do not see any, well, you say, what is the point?

You are not likely to make much money at first until you get everything rolling, in particular your marketing and advertising to attract customers. Even then you have to give it more time and in this regard you need to continually build momentum by keeping the volume of your advertising and marketing to the maximum. You should never ‘rest on your laurels’.

This is because not everybody who sees your ads will respond – in fact the majority will not respond. So you have to ‘find the needle in the haystack’ and plow through to find the people who are interested and will take action. Further to this even when you start getting traffic that will not only respond but actually convert to sales, you still need to constantly be finding new business – so again it is about the momentum. You can never stop unless you don’t mind your business drying up.

If you are starting an online business, get ready to do some work. Look at making money as a hobby and try to have fun getting to the prize. “It’s a marathon, not a sprint”, so don’t expect instant results, miracles, magic or osmosis. It’a all about just plain old w-o-r-k that will get you wealthy (unless you expect to inherit money or win the lottery)!
